I hope this picture isn't TMI for you sensitive folks but, I just have to say that it blows my mind that a baby a mere 5 inches in size could already be kicking me and I be feeling it so distinctly! Yesterday I was doubting myself because I had just assumed that it would be another few weeks at least before I felt any flutters but, today my doubts have been completely ERASED. Anyways, being my first child this is a bizarre feeling and it has definitely added a new level of awe to this pregnancy for me which I have so needed. I sometimes forget I am pregnant but, I will not be able to forget anymore with this punkin' reminding me that he or she is there! i would also like to point out that a lot of people have likened a baby's kicks to butterflies (it is a hard feeling to describe) but, for me it simply feels like someone is very gently tapping on the inside of my tummy...Heaven perhaps:). Just had to share because this has really blessed me today:).

I'm so excited for you! I bet this really does help you. It definitely makes me more aware of the fact that there is a baby in there, although she (or he) is only ounces. I feel her kicking and moving around so much now. It's amazing, I love it! I am so happy for you, enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteCasey, that is cool! I felt my baby move that early too. You know your body better than anyone. It IS heaven tapping:). I love feeling the baby move. It really helps with the bonding process! It's so neat! And it gets better and better the bigger he/she gets! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteThat is really sweet. I think that was one of my most favorite thing about being pregnant. Later in the pregnancy I could just sit and watch my boy move around, people thought it was kind of creepy to see my tummy jump, and stretch, but I liked it.
ReplyDeleteYEAH! I am so glad that the Lord has blessed you with that. That babe of yours is going to be very strong huh? I agree with you about the tapping thing. Very strange sensation. It is even more fun to feel it on your hand on the outside too. I would feel them on the "outside" all the time and people would be like "are you ok?" Of course! Just feeling one of God's miracles! I am so excited for you to have this Casey! I am getting all teary eyed!
