My Very First Vlog - Yikes

I decided to participate in this week's Vlogging Vednesday challenge hosted by Adeline's Daddy. I have enjoyed watching the other vlogs out there and getting to know all of you awesome bloggers better!!. Before watching you should know a couple facts about me. Fact #1 - I do not like being on video!! My husband's entire career revolves around video conferencing and yet, I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have let him include me in a video call over the past 7 years. Yuck. Fact #2 - I don't think the real me really comes through in a vlog as well as I'd like but, for now I'm okay with that. Maybe in time I will get more comfortable doing this!

I'm excited about American Idol tonight! Anyone else watching and rooting for a particular person? I like Lauren a lot and would be happy if she won but I also really like Casey, Haley, Naima and Stefano. I even voted twice for the first time ever this season (for different people). hehe.

    aww you did good! I like to see people too, what they are like!! And we moved from California to Colorado just in October and that is exactly why I started blogging too:) I need to go check this out..thanks!!

    Great job! I have not ventured into this yet. I may get bold one day & just do it.

    I am a CA native & lived in NC for a short time. It is very different to pick up & move to a place where you have no one to lean on but each other. Since then I have done it MANY times & I really do think it has made us stronger as a couple & a family.

    I am a newer follower of yours & looking forward to future posts. (yes- blogging is addicting) no other way to say it :)

    Yeah!!!! I am participating in the VLOG wednesday thingy too! I also HATE to see myself on video - but my little 2 year old makes it worth while. He is such a HAM when he see's himself on the computer screen.

    Great job!!! I want to do one of these, but never have time the day of when I think about it - or when I see others posted! So...I'm making note of the next one coming up so hopefully between now & next week I can get it recorded!!

    And yeah - I'm an Idol fan - I actually just did a post about my faves! LOL

    Blogging is TOTALLY addicting. I started right after we moved from our home in Alabama to west Florida to keep our family updated on my pregnancy and then it evolved into something more. I love the community and the connection of making friends with people I've never met. I think you did great on your vlog. Way to go!

    Awww I think you did a great job, but this doesnt show how goofy you are. We'll have to work on that. My husband would be so happy that someone else likes sushi - we can eat that sometime if we ever get together with the families.

    i turend the volume up and I could figure out where the music was coming from. Then I scrolled down and muted it. LOL.

    good job! welcome to vlogging, its so much harder then I thought it would be. Today I had to pay my 4 year old to stay in his room when I did it, because I get distracted so easy. :) I've never had sushi! & I was just talking to my hubby about that yesterday :)
