The Fabulous Ashley

I am so ridiculously behind in posting these pictures.  I think Ashley posted the pictures she took of me almost 3 weeks ago now...shame on me...shame on me.  With my mom in town for two weeks and now my husband's momma in town for a couple of weeks I just haven't been on top of things like I normally am.  It's all good though.  Better late than never as I always say.

Ashley and I have gotten together a handful of times now and every time I hang out with her I learn more about her and I love it!  It has been such a treat to meet in person and to genuinely like her both in the blog world and the real world. hehe.  Ashley is smart, spunky, silly, talented, a good listener; a sister in Christ and I must say...hot and in this instance I mean hot as in sexy...because she and I were also both super hot as in melting in the sweltering heat.  Did you follow all that? lol.  Ashley has become quite the expert at self-portraits in my opinion and I really do think her skills have paid off as she is quite the natural model! Anyways, we seriously were dying in the heat but, we had a good time and went out for a nice dinner afterwards in a nice air conditioned restaurant.  Ahhhhh, a great ending to a fun evening! 

And in case anyone is curious.  I edited all of these with a free action called watermelon blues that I tweaked a little bit on each shot.  I loved how these pictures looked SOOC but, because my natural instinct is to leave my pictures very simple and basic on my blog, I decided to go a different route.  I wanted these pictures to be soft, bright and warm.  Yes, I am aware that some of the shots are overexposed, but, I don't care as I wasn't shooting for perfection...just for fun.  No go enjoy looking at Ashley:). hehe

                This is actually one of my faves (below).  I love the natural, unposed feel to it.  Very peaceful.

                         I would trade her legs any day!  They go on and on forever! hehe

 The picture just below this one with the sun flares is one of my absolute favorites.  The sun flare is fake of course and totally over the top but, I think that is why I like it.  It reminds me of a picture that would be the cover picture for an MTV DVD series of a reality show based out of NY or something.  I dunno.  I just really like it a lot!! Also love her sexy, head flung back picture below  that   one a lot too! Heck, who am I kidding...from here down I think these are my favorites!
