It Is Well

I have a private blog where I jot down my day to day feelings and thoughts as my hubby and I continue to walk through this long season together. It's been such a GREAT outlet for me.  A bit like a live diary if you will however; by the time I get finish pouring my heart out on that blog I pretty much run out of thoughts to share on this blog and then I wonder why I am not in the mood to post anything.lol

So, in light of that I wanted to share that this morning the hubby is meeting with a neurologist.  Please pray that this specialist will be able to resolve some of the issues the hubs is still having and pray that this visit fills my hubby with hope!

Me and my husband sat on the edge of our couch this morning, held hands and bowed our heads together, lifted our hearts up to the King of King and prayed. We prayed together as husband and wife and lifted up all that was on our hearts up to our Father in Heaven.  Prayer brings us closer to each other and it brings us closer to God.  Who would have thought that the simple act of praying together at an unexpected moment would be the nudge I needed to focus my heart more on the Lord and HIS truth today.  I enjoyed some wonderful worship music while I showered, prayed more as I got ready for my day and am continuing to soak up the sweet sound of worship music as I sit here.  "How great is our God!  Sing with me, how great is our God!"

It's amazing to me that when I take the little extra time to meet with the Lord, that He quickly takes my eyes off of myself and my stuff and focuses them on Him.  My troubles fade away.  Peace that can only come from the Lord, washes over me.  I feel refreshed, strengthened, hopeful and content.  That is how good our God is.  God's got this.  He's going to take care of it all.  No need to worry.  Resting in the one who holds my future in His hands!

Now please excuse me as I am about to step out into the glorious day that the Lord has created for us! I pray that each of you has a blessed day!

I will be praying for your husband, and i started out today having a personal prayer time and reading the bible and it's so awesome! I have struggled to do it every morning for so long and it's so amazing when you follow the holy spirits leading. I'm happy that you're having a good day my friend! xo
