Your Hands

I am stealing this song from another friend's blog. I am also going to post the lyrics as she did so you can read the words while you listen to the song. It's beautiful, comforting and so nice to hear someone else put into words the thoughts that many of us have had at one time or another. I do want to add that I am not in the depths of despair today by any means but, Joey and I are definitely riding through a unique season in our lives right now and songs like this are so fitting and encouraging for us. Our little Dakota is sick again. It may be nothing but, it doesn't appear that way. She has thrown up twice in the middle of the night now for two days, didn't eat yesterday and this morning she had a full bowel movement uncontrollably in her crate that covered her and everything around her. Poor baby Kota. When I took her outside to go potty at 7 AM she had blood in her stool. A good amount of blood I might add. I am concerned because she got a hold of a plastic cup in our backyard somehow last Friday and chewed it to pieces. Though it seemed that all the pieces were all over our lawn it would not surprise me now based on her symptoms if she consumed some. My mom and I prayed for her together this morning and I laid hands on her little body and asked God to get her through this for us but, only time will tell and I hate to say it but, we cannot afford to take her in again. So we sit and we wait. Hoping for a miracle for our Kota Mota!
Just thought this song was fitting and sometimes we don't understand why things happen but, it brings us so much peace to know that we are ALWAYS in God's hands! What a friend we have in Jesus.

YOUR HANDS

I have unanswered prayers
I have trouble I wish wasn’t there
And I have asked a thousand ways
That you would take my pain away
You would take my pain away

I am trying to understand
How to walk this weary land
Make straight the paths that crooked lie
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine

When my world is shaking, heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave your hands

When you walked upon the earth
You healed the broken, lost and hurt
I know you hate to see me cry
One day you will set all things right
Yeah, one day you will set all things right

When my world is shaking, heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave your hands

Your hands that shaped the world
Are holding me
They hold me still
