Lila's First Birthday

Oh my golly we had a busy weekend! Saturday we had a family BBQ as Joey's brother had flown into town from CA just for a couple of days. We all had a great time and I will be posting pictures from that hang out soon. I had to leave in the middle of the BBQ to go enjoy a wonderful frozen yogurt date with some neighbor lady friends. I cannot emphasize enough how lucky I am to have so many UH-MAZING neighbors. Seriously, they are all awesome and I love when I get to hang out with them and get to know them better. Saturday night my hubby and his brother played video games and I was TIRED. Not sure what I am so exhausted the past few days but, I am really struggling to stay up after Daisy goes to bed around 7 ish! I have little drive to edit photos, blog etc. so forgive me if I am a tad absent this week from visiting you all but, I promise as soon as I get my energy back I'll get back in the swing of things. (NO, I am not pregnant!). Sunday we went to church and then after we headed directly to a nice little park to celebrate Lila's first birthday (from the four pack friends). It was chilly at first but, it warmed up as the time went on. I never get as many pictures as I'd like but, it is hard to do while keeping an eye on my kiddo. I'd love to take party pictures and get more creative someday but, without a child hanging on my leg would be nice! lol.

GUESS WHAT? Daisy's first birthday party is this Saturday!!! YIKESABEE!! When did my little munchkin get so big??? I have been doing a little bit of party stuff here and there the past week and I am quite excited! I love an reason to celebrate, decorate and have people over so birthdays are right up my alley. Her actual birthday is the 31st so the party is a hair early. Anyways, enjoy the pictures from Lila's party! Her theme was Fancy Nancy. So cute! Her momma did a great job!
I thought this fruit display was so creative and pretty!
Sweet Birthday girl!

Lila got hit the jack pot!
Pretty and simple flower table centerpieces. Lovely.
Time for presents with Mom and Dad
And now you will have to excuse me but, I went a little Mom/camera crazy on my adorable child as she played with Sam. She was LOVING him. She pet his head, talked to him and looked him right in the eyes, liked having her head pressed into his and they stayed that way for a while. SO stinking cute to see how much my little one likes to play already. She is such a ham and just cracks me up! I will add that Daisy is now cutting a canine tooth this week...her11th tooth!! Holy COW KID SLOW DOWN!! It is KILLING her. She is SOO miserable so I am praying that this tooth eases up on her by Saturday...or I will just have to drug her up with lots of tylenol for the pain! lol.

I wonder if this is a type of kiss for babies...a way of communicating?? Darling, regardless!

hmmm, what's in this hole?
My sweet, happy little girl
Finally got a picture with the four pack dad's and their kiddos.
Moms and the babies

  8. oh that looks like a blast. How fun and great shots from that day. I wish I had a group of moms around me like you do. I think it's important to have that outlet and feedback that you do from someone going through the same thing.
Hope you feel better. take care

  13. I love Fancy Nancy - our neighbor had a Fancy Nancy 3rd b'day party for her little girl today. What's the theme for Daisy's - or is it a surprise?!?!?! Do you think allergies have you so tired - I know down here the pollen is terrible and it's killing me...or could it be something else, something a little "smaller"!??! ;) The pictures are adorable!
