Vincent's 3rd Birthday

We were invited to Vincent's 3rd birthday party at the end of October.  That just goes to show you how far behind I am on my blogging.  Sigh.  Oh the good ol' days of blogging things punctually. lol.  Anyhoo, I wasn't sure how Daisy would do at a birthday party because she can be a bit of a challenge at times in social settings these days but, she did great and she had a blast which was a double blessing!  Vincent is the cutest little guy and his parent's are great neighbors of ours.  We had such a good time celebrating with him and the night flew by which is always nice with a toddler.   As I write this I am again reflecting on the fact that I will be celebrating Daisy's 2nd birthday in 4 months....I think I just said this in the last post or two but, MAN where has the time gone??? lol.

We are going to our cute little local parade tonight and I'm excited! Daisy has never been to a parade and I haven't been to one in years.  We are meeting up with some friends and we are hoping our kiddos will enjoy the sights.  I'm sure I'll snap a picture or two....you know I can't resist!

Happy December to you all by the way!  Are you tackling Christmas decorating and shopping yet?  We got all of our decorating done on Thanksgiving when my mom was here which was wonderful and my shopping is almost done...thank you Lord.  So now I get to sit back and be whirled around by the inevitable business that December brings.  Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Daisy was given this little Halloween candy bucket as a party favor when we left Vincent's birthday party.  OM gosh if you could have heard her squeals of excitement when we got home and handed her the pail.  She is such an animated little girl as you can tell by the pictures...lol

Isn't he just the cutest little guy!  He is sweet as sugar.  Seriously, one of the sweetest and mellowest kids I've ever had the pleasure of knowing:).  Happy 3rd year Vinsters!
His sweet family.  So thankful for this bunch:) And so thankful for all of my neighbors for that matter.  Call me biased but, I really do have the coolest neighbors on the planet all on one street.  I feel very blessed!
Make a wish and blow out the candle...
He made some cute faces while opening his presents.  I am looking forward to birthdays when Daisy is this age.  So fun!

Now this was pretty funny.  Getting these kiddos to line up for a pic with all their different personalities shining through was hilarious.  Daisy saw all the cameras being whipped out and she was like, "hey, I feel right at home," so she started hamming it up.  She does really well with older kids and they were all so sweet with her.  Such a fun party!

  5. You two look so cute together! The party pictures are wonderful and Daisy looks like she had a great time! I know it can be hard to keep up with blogging. Do not forget that blogging is something you do for yourself. You should enjoy doing it and not feel obligated. So when time lapses because there is so much to get done, just know that your bloggy friends are still here and will keep up. :) Have a great day!
