Thank you Erin for the adorable outfit:) It looks so cute on Daisy!
As you all know, our nanny left us hanging high and dry a couple of weeks ago and my hubby's sister Jessica, graciously stepped in and took over as our nanny for the rest of Summer. As you also know, Daisy has stranger anxiety and cried constantly with the previous nanny which was so hard on me, hard on the nanny and hard on Daisy because she is generally a super happy, easy baby and all the crying upset her stomach and messed up her naps everyday. Daisy was definitely fussy the first couple of days with Jessica but, nothing like she was with the other gal and now two weeks later, aside from me, Jess is Daisy's other favorite person. She hardly ever cries with Jess and life has become so much less stressful for all of us. I cannot thank Jess enough for taking the time to learn what Daisy likes and doesn't like and for being so patient and loving with Daisy. It makes me so happy to see that Daisy has warmed up to someone other than me and now I have hope that she will eventually warm to everyone else in time:) lol. I can't help but to give God all the glory for this because I had been praying constantly about the difficulties with our previous nanny and I'm glad that she moved on because God knew that Jess would be perfect for the job! Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers and blessing us with even more than we hoped for! You are so good to us!!
I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him.
